As head of product development for Barbari, I was eager to add a new form-factor to our line-up of prerolled offerings. Luckily, we shared a space with blunt-makers Sway, who were true experts at their craft. Specializing in hemp Thai Stick blunts, which a is a pressed-flower around a stick, which is then removed to produce a channel for air to flow through when smoked. Enjoyed like a cigar, the resulting experience is a slow-burn and ultra-smooth inhale. Leaning into Sways craftsmanship, and Barbari’s botanical expertise, I designed a Thai Stick wrapped in two different effect-enhancing botanicals: Blue Lotus and Klip Dagga.

The challenge was to ensure the botanicals were adhered to the outside of the blunt without compromising the even burn or causing a harsh inhale. Melody Wright, of Sway iterated on my initial direction and came up with a set of game-changing finished products.
